I’ve been there too.
I used to be overwhelmed by pressure. I used to feel an insane knot in my stomach. My mind used to go crazy and sometimes even turned blank. I was so frustrated because I knew I could do a lot better if only my body wasn’t acting like this! I was tired to feel like an idiot when I knew I had the skills and knowledge, but just not the ability to speak well. In fact, it was so frustrating that I decided to overcome it at all costs.
First, it was about overcoming the emotional reactions. I started to talk to strangers, sung karaoke, played theatre, organized events, spoke on various stages, and even… did a speech in the middle of a crowded street.
I learnt to connect with people from all backgrounds, in networking events, in planes, on the street, on stage, and in 5-star hotels.
Then, it was about being effective.
I worked with founders, business owners and coaches, and learnt to be convincing.
The whole process took almost 10 years of experimentations, because I didn’t have a plan.
But with all these experiments, I devised a super fast method with only what works the best and requires the least amount of effort (don’t hear me wrong: it still does). It contains the most effective things you can do to become an effective and courageous communicator – hey maybe even a little bit charismatic – and finally have the impact you want.
